MLA Dave S. Hayer spoke in the B.C. legislature to recognize and thank the Surrey Filipino Seventh-Day Adventist Community Church and the Surrey Seventh-Day Adventist Community Church for hosting their fifth-annual Community Appreciation night.

The event honoured the BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) and its staff.

BCAS has a fleet of more than 480 ground ambulances operating from 187 stations across the province.

“Mr. Speaker, I would like to thank the Surrey Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Community Church and Surrey Seventh-day Adventist Community Church for hosting their fifth-annual Community Appreciation night honouring the B.C. “Mr. Speaker, I would like the House to please help me thank the hosts, Surrey Filipino Community Church, Pastor Ken Naidoo and Linda Naidoo, Ron Watson, Lilia Robles, and all other volunteers who helped with this special event,” said Hayer.
