Canadian Medical Assistance Teams (CMAT) and IMAT rapid assessment team has departed from Vancouver and is travelling to earthquake and tsunami ravaged Japan. CMAT is comprised of doctors, nurses and paramedics (APBC members).
CMAT has now launched a nation-wide relief campaign to raise $20,000 to purchase a high-volume water purification system, to provide clean drinking water for local communities.
CMAT urgently appeals to all individuals to generously donate to support the team in its efforts to help the Japanese people.
