20 Year Anniversary of PUN

January 11, 2015 at 10:34 AM

It was 20 years ago today that MedEvac Jet C-GPUN went down over the ocean in the early morning hours near Masset. Sadly, all on board were lost

Infant Transport Team Paramedic Andreas Goedicke, 40, EMA II Paramedic Wendy Thompson, 33 and Dr. Jeffrey Dolph were responding to assist a pregnant mother in distress.  Canada Jet pilots Daniel Jorgensen and Geir Zinke were flying the Lear 35.

As you go about your day today, please take a moment to reflect on this sad anniversary and remember Andy and Wendy and all those that have made sacrifices in the line of duty.

We shall never forget them.

Sincerely,
