Ambulance MVA Fort Nelson

Details about a BCAS Ambulance accident in Northern BC.

Dear Members,

At approximately 01:00hrs today, a BCAS Ambulance from station 858 - Fort Nelson was involved in a roll-over accident. The crew were transporting a patient to hospital at the time. The weather was snowy conditions at the time of the accident.

Additional BCAS resources responded to the scene, resulting in both Paramedics and the patient being transported to hospital. Assessment is underway for all patients, with a possibility of an airevac response.

APBC safety program members, BCAS management, local RVP's and the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team are aware of the situation, and are responding accordingly.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the APBC members, the patient and all of the families involved at this time. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
