Community Engagement & Public Education
Paramedics and dispatchers are a dedicated group of professionals committed to their communities – and their service doesn’t end when the shift is over. APBC and the Public Education Department support a variety of charities and causes throughout our province to promote and celebrate health, wellness, safety and diversity in our communities. Our Public Education Department is always hard at work educating the public – from the young to the young at heart. You can find our Paramedic and Dispatcher volunteers visiting schools, senior centres and facilities and at local community and charity events.
Have you met our mascot?
Meet Bearamedic – our friendly Paramedic mascot. Bearamedic helps us out at different events – he is great with kids and loves to show off the Ambulance with all the cool equipment that Paramedics use on a daily basis.
Now you can follow Bearamedic on Instagram and checkout his latest adventures.
