UBC has competed their WorkSafeBC-funded study on CUPE 873 paramedics and EMD’s in the relationship of shift work and development of heart disease.

Thank you to all study participants, and those benind the scenes that supported this research project.
A paralelling and ongoing study is on our risk in developing certain cancers due to the nature of our work. I’ll keep you updated.
