You can find the certified vote results in the attached PDF here: Certified Vote Result.  We are also happy to report that the votes came from an even representation of members between Full-time, Regular Part-time, On-call and from each geographic region of the province. We are confident that these results accurately represent our membership as a whole.

The new 2022-2025 Collective Agreement represents the largest advancement ever achieved for our Local. Your executive team will get to work right away on the joint committees and working groups to start the implementation of the changes and new initiatives.

We wish to thank all the people involved in bargaining, including the entire negotiations committee, provincial executive members and our CUPE Staff Representative, for their many months and long days at the bargaining table. It wasn’t always easy, but together we have achieved something great. Thank you all.

We also want to thank our APBC office staff, Kari and Sat, for their hard work processing the hundreds of login help requests from members over the past few weeks. Their quick work and responses were key to ensuring that every member that came forward had the opportunity to place their vote.

Finally, we want to thank our members. We recognize and understand that this new agreement contains a large amount of change, some of which will greatly impact our members and how we deliver care throughout the province. Without your trust and faith in our team, this agreement would not be possible.

Thank you for your support in ratifying the agreement and your continued patience as we move forward into the implementation phase.

Sincerely,

Troy Clifford
