3rd & FINAL Call for Nominations – Vacant Positions

Following the close of nominations for PEC Standing Committees for election at Convention 2020, several positions received no valid nominations:

• PSPP Committee – Fulltime/ Reg Parttime – 1 vacancy, 3 yr term ending 2023
• Convention Committee – On-Call – 1 vacancy, balance of 2 yr term ending 2021
• Bylaws Committee – On-Call – 1 vacancy, balance of 2 yr term ending 2021

In accordance with Bylaw 13.a10, the Provincial Executive Committee will seek the special authorization of the membership at Convention 2020 to complete a by-election in accordance with Bylaw 13.d1. 

In the event special authorization is received from the delegation, an election for each position will then be held at Convention 2020. To facilitate this process, we must issue a call for nominations in accordance with our Bylaws.

In consideration of the above, this notice will serve as the 3^rd & FINAL call for nominations for the positions listed below. The elections will take place at Convention 2020. NO FURTHER NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT CONVENTION.

Nominations must be submitted through the electronic form provided on the APBC.ca website (https://www.apbc.ca/nominations/).  VERBAL, WRITTEN or FAXED nominations will NOT be accepted for nominations.

Nominees MUST CONFIRM their ACCEPTANCE of nomination ON-LINE at https://www.apbc.ca/my-nominations prior to the close of 3^rd & FINAL call for nominations.  ONLY ON-LINE acceptances will be considered valid.
 
The onus is on the NOMINEE to ensure their nomination has been accepted within the time limits.  NO FURTHER attempts will be taken to confirm acceptance of nomination.
 
The DEADLINE for 3^rd & FINAL call for nominations is THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2020.
