90-Day Notice Regarding APBC Email Addresses

Dear Members,

RE:  90-Day Notice to Membership regarding APBC email addresses

During the 2021 Convention and a subsequent Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) meeting, the Union passed policy resolution 2021-01 (view here).  This resolution sought to dissolve the current “@apbc.ca” email addresses for the general membership, based on numerous factors detailed in the resolution. 

The @apbc.ca email address will be dissolved on April 4th, 2022.

This will not prevent any member from receiving communications from the Union; instead, this will allow the membership to register and log into the new website launching this spring with their own personal email address, making everything more seamless.

We encourage all members who use this address in any capacity to log in and back up, forward, or clean out any emails or information that they deem necessary.  After the 90-day time period, these email accounts will be deleted, and any information will not be recoverable.
