Carol Schlamp Anniversary

Dear Members;

Re:      Carol Schlamp Anniversary

Today marks the twenty-fifth (25) anniversary of the tragic passing of Paramedic Carol Schlamp. Carol was assigned to the Hope, BC station. She and her partner were returning to their station after a day of working in the Fraser Valley when the ambulance they were in was involved in a tragic accident, striking a rock wall along Highway 1 near Hope, BC.

Please take a moment today to remember Carol and the nine other paramedics who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving the public.

Sincerely,
Provincial Executive Committee
Ambulance Paramedics and Emergency Dispatchers of BC
CUPE Local 873
