Please see attached two different Expressions of Interest: Website Administrator and Seniority List Amalgamation Committee.
The Website Administrator position was created as a result of a bylaw resolution passed at Convention 2015. After a series of EOI’s that did not yield candidates with the necessary qualifications, the position has never been filled. As our Union continues to evolve, and we develop a more comprehensive communication strategy, the need for a Website Administrator has become increasingly necessary. The Website Administrator position is governed by Bylaw 15.b14, and will be for the balance of a two-year term ending in 2020. At Convention 2018, a policy resolution was passed that called for the formation of a committee to examine the possibility of amalgamating on-call and full-time seniority lists to create one provincial list. To convene the committee, satisfy the bylaw and ensure fair representation we are calling on interested members to submit an application to join the committee. The Provincial Executive Board will select a one (1) on-call member, one (1) regular part-time member and one (1) full-time member. These three members will join select members of the Provincial Executive Board and the Provincial Executive Committee for the Seniority List Amalgamation Committee.
