President’s Update “Many have messaged and asked me why I stepped up to lead as president, what is my vision, what am I going to do? The main reason I took on this challenge is I believe I can make a difference, and know I can bring my passion, resilience, adaptability and commitment to our union, service and profession.”

A Message from our New Provincial Safety  “I recently was elected and accepted the Provincial Safety Director position. I will work hard in this new role to represent the membership with the same tenacity I have in my previous positions. Corey Viala for many years was looking out for all members and has paved the way to a very strong program.  I will only try to continue in his footsteps and keep raising the bar as high as I can.”

Ceremonial Unit Spotlight: Meet Chris Nielsen Chris is proud to be a member of the Ambulance Paramedics of BC Ceremonial Unit.  He sees it as an opportunity to represent our profession and show unity and support for our members in times of tragedy and celebration.”

Public Education: Volunteers Needed “As we head into the holiday season, your Public Education team will be busy ensuring Paramedics and Dispatchers are involved and well represented at the many events taking place around our Province. We can’t do it all on our own, so we will need YOUR help to spread some holiday cheer!”

Were YOU a Delegate to Convention? “Please email your delegate report to info@apbc.ca by November 9th, 2019 (in order to satisfy Bylaw 14.5 amended at this year’s Convention: all reports following Convention must be submitted within 30 days of the close of the event).”
