Provincial Executive Update

Re:       Provincial Executive Update

As you are aware from our March 2019 update, the Provincial Executive had some temporary appointments while Provincial Vice President Sherman Hillier took a temporary position as a staff representative with CUPE. Sherman has advised that his role with CUPE will continue indefinitely and has subsequently resigned as the 2nd Provincial Vice President.

Therefore, effective immediately, the executive has appointed the following individuals into the respective positions as per Bylaw 13.d3(a);

  1. Jason Jackson is appointed to the position of 2nd Provincial Vice President (PVP)
  2. Dustin Jackson is appointed to the position of Provincial Chief Grievance Officer (PCGO)

Both appointments will continue until the regularly scheduled elections take place at Convention 2019.

We would like to thank Sherman for his decades of service and support to the Ambulance Paramedics & Emergency Dispatchers of BC. Please join me in wishing him well in his new role with CUPE.

Please contact any member of the executive if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Cameron Eby
Provincial President
Ambulance Paramedics & Emergency Dispatchers of BC
