Work Place Health COVID-19 Resource Line update
It’s showing in the Safety New Letter for April not to report to Workplace Health, this was the direction from the employer at the time. Updated since then PHSA noted extensive problems with 811 lines being over loaded. PHSA now activated supports allowing member to use Work Place Health line. We now have both 811 and Work Place Health as reporting structures to report COVID-19 related issues.
COVID-19 Resource Line:
Workplace Health created a new PHSA COVID-19 Resource Line – staffed primarily by nurses – for all PHSA employees and physicians to address workplace health-related calls regarding COVID-19 matters.
This Resource Line:
- supports workplace health related calls from employees and medical staff
- triages calls and provide direction to various resources available
- works closely with our infection control teams
The Resource Line is: 1-833-875-2155 (toll free) or 604-875-2155 and operates 7 days per week from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
